Reduce risk, avoid programme delays and make decisions based on evidence – not assumptions.
We are proud to announce the opening of our new dedicated manufacturing and logistics hub in South Yorkshire, a major expansion recently highlighted by Business Doncaster. This strategic move significantly increases our operational footprint, allowing us to deploy engineering teams rapidly across the North and the wider UK.
Crucially, the Doncaster facility will serve as the exclusive manufacturing centre for our proprietary composite ReInforcer Mesh engineered specifically for RAAC remediation (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete).
As the UK continues to manage the widespread structural risks associated with ageing RAAC panels in schools, hospitals and commercial estates, securing a resilient and rapid supply chain is paramount. By manufacturing the Re-Grid composite entirely in-house at our Doncaster plant, we have successfully removed our reliance on third-party suppliers and imported materials.
For our clients, this means faster turnaround times, uncompromised quality control and the ability to mobilise our specialised structural stabilisation teams immediately. The ReInforcer Mesh system offers a lightweight, high-tensile alternative to traditional heavy steel interventions, allowing facilities to remain operational with minimal disruption.

Structural Repairs’ ReInforcer Mesh for RAAC Remediation – now manufactured in Doncaster

Extending Asset Lifespan and Driving Net-Zero
Beyond operational speed, the deployment of kevlar and carbon-fibre matting aligns directly with the stringent environmental targets of our public and private sector clients. In structural engineering, the most carbon-positive building is the one you never build. By rapidly securing and extending the lifespan of existing RAAC structures, we prevent the massive carbon footprint associated with demolition and ground-up reconstruction. Furthermore, our composite interventions use significantly less material mass than traditional steel frameworks – drastically reducing transport emissions and site waste.
Scaling Capacity in South Yorkshire
The launch of this facility is also driving an immediate recruitment initiative in the region. We are rapidly scaling our localised manufacturing workforce and engineering units to keep pace with national demand, creating skilled technical roles right here in South Yorkshire.
As the RAAC crisis evolves, our new hub ensures we have both the localised industrial capacity and the proprietary technology to meet the toughest structural challenges facing the nation.
Why Doncaster?
In the words of our CEO, Roger Line:
“Doncaster stood out immediately. The city has the infrastructure, the talent and, importantly, the ambition. The support from Business Doncaster has been exceptional, proactive, engaged and genuinely invested in helping businesses like ours grow.”
