Bacteria produce Hydrogen Sulphide H₂S gas which, upon contact with moist surfaces, converts into Biogenic Sulphuric Acid. This acid eats through concrete cover at an alarming rate, risking structural collapse and environmental contamination.

We can inject these against high-pressure active flows, stopping leaks in minutes while the asset remains full and operational.
Underwater Intervention: Why drain a basin to inspect it? We deploy specialist commercial dive teams and aquatic ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) to carry out structural surveys, silt removal, and scour protection works underwater. This “wet works” approach completely eliminates the need for expensive dewatering and maintains supply continuity.
