For super heated pressure cleaning, you would be forgiven to think of a regular pressure washer that sprays hot water. Similar but different in many aspects, the DOFF pressure washing system is a low pressure spraying system that is super heated and uses that combination to provide such amazing results, especially on areas where the section being cleaned is subject to crumbling or the break down you’d expect with a normal pressure washer.
The DOFF system is a steam based stone cleaning system. We use the DOFF system to clean stonework and masonry using high temperature steam, with a very gentle pressure on the surface, which requires a low volume of the water. The surface is therefore not saturated and will be dry within minutes.
It’s unlike any other steam system and can achieve temperatures 150°C at the nozzle end. We vary the temperature and pressure to remove either many types of paint or biological matter. The steam removes moss, algae, fungi and other biological matter and will also kill off spores. This means there is then no need to use a chemical biocide during the removal process or as a protection against further biological activity.
Use our Super Heated Pressure Cleaning for gentle historical cleaning and restoration projects stone cleaning of sandstone, bath stone, York stone, safe cleaning of all masonry brick cleaning and restoring masonry to ensure the base substrate is left fully intact. Many well-respected conservation architects and building surveyors throughout the UK are now seeing the benefits of the hot box system and their clients can expect lower costs due to the improved delivery of our latest super heated pressure cleaning system.
